STORY SYNOPSIS:
[if i ever write the damn thing]kim has always been the type of person to march to the beat of their own drum. although she always craved for something bigger in life, she's ironically settled for a pretty unambitious lifestyle. having spent the past year of her life couch hopping and refusing to find a job or a place to settle down, she's grown complacent crashing at her pepper's place, much to the dismay of her best friend.after finally given the ultimatum to decide on doing something with her life or getting kicked out, kim decides she's going to pursue her childhood dream and start a band.

kim and tim have a bit of a power imbalance between the two. it's obvious timothy has a crush on kim and kim likes to exploit that, often asking him to do things he would not normally do. kim thinks he's kind of cute in an awkward way, and timothy is very weak to kim's smile.

best friends since highschool, and have had a complicated, unspoken history between the two of them. kim and pepper can be hot and cold, but kim will always come back to pepper. while kim knows deep down she's been taking advantage of her best friend, she worries that if she becomes less dependent on pepper that she would leave kim.

met when kim breifly worked at his uncle's hardware store. these two are fun and flirty, but just friends (kim keeps it that way.) whenever roy starts to show genuine interest into getting to know kim on a deeper level, kim ends up ghosting him. kim thinks he's too good for them while roy thinks kim brings out his more closed off personality.

timothy is weak to kim's charm, and often ends up going along with whatever they ask. he is both thrilled and terrified at being around them. he truly has no idea how kim feels for him, and doesn't really want to know it, either.

pepper and timothy are neighboors who met through kim. timothy and pepper don't talk about what they are to each other. it's in friend territory for sure, but regrettably, timothy he finds himself coming to her as an emotional rebound whenever he feels heart broken. to him this is just blowing off steam, but he hasn't had the heart to ask pepper if she feels the same way.

roy is timothy's first experience with being with another man, and he struggles with both his sexuality and his gender because of this. on top of that, when they do end up becoming something serious, roy won't tell his family about timothy. it's lead to them separated and hurt, and made it difficult for them to put a label on their relationship.

these two met after roy joined the band, but vaguely knew about eachother before hand. pepper acts a little cold to roy in the beginning, but she warms up to him almost immediately. roy finds her absolutely stunning and admires how head strong she is. while they enjoy each other's company, they both know that what they want is someone else.
